A leading regional teaching hospital in Northern Virginia is seeking an Ambulatory Oncology Clinical Pharmacy Specialist which is a newly created position at their cancer center. This is an opportunity to collaborate directly with the oncology chief and oversee cancer treatment plans. Additional responsibilities include ensuring appropriate chemotherapy regimens, developing oncology pharmacy services, collaborating with the oncology team, and precepting pharmacy residents. The employer offers an established pharmacy residency program, expanding medical education programs, and a supportive, collaborative "open door" team culture. Compensation ranges from approximately $140,000–$210,000, plus a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits. Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends or holidays.
Candidates must have a PharmD and PGY2 Oncology residency training or equivalent experience. Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and an interest in teaching are essential.
