A mission-driven, nonprofit health system is seeking a Pharmacy Director to lead pharmacy services at a small hospital in a beautiful Northern California coastal region (Rx team of approximately 10). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hospital pharmacist ready to step into leadership or an established leader who enjoys hands-on work. You’ll oversee inpatient pharmacy operations, IV admixture, chemotherapy services, staffing, budgets, medication safety, and regulatory compliance, with support from a larger health system. Compensation is quite competitive ranging from $177,000 to $266,000 annually, plus a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and comprehensive benefits.
Candidates must have a Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD, their CA license, and at least three years of hospital pharmacy experience, including solid inpatient experience. Oncology experience is a plus, and five or more years of acute care pharmacy management experience is preferred but not required. Pharmacists looking to transition into leadership are encouraged to apply. Recent hospital experience within the past two to three years is required for candidates with a retail background.
