Quick Facts

  • Four 10-hour shifts 7am – 5:30pm with 1 weekend rotation every 3-4 weeks
  • 1100 cases annually — ICU and step-down unit patient care
  • Hospital setting — critical care and intensive care focus
  • CA License Required
  • Team includes 4-7 PAs and 3 surgeons
  • Post-op care management — central lines, A-lines, VAD, Impella, ECMO
  • Pre/post-op rounding and floor work — no clinic duties
  • No call responsibilities
